Role Description The Application Developer will design, build, and maintain internal web applications and dashboards used across multiple operating companies, including manufacturing, staffing, and family office investments. This role is responsible for delivering modern React and Tailwind frontends on Supabase and Vercel, replacing legacy reporting tools with purpose-built operator applications, and partnering directly with business users to translate requirements into production software. The ideal candidate has strong full-stack skills, an operator mindset, and fluency with AI-augmented development workflows. Key Responsibilities - Application Development & Delivery - Build and ship operator-facing web applications across manufacturing, staffing, family office, real estate, and other business units. - Replace legacy Power BI reports and third-party tools with custom React-based dashboards and applications. - Contribute to internal platforms including work order scheduling tools, skills tracking applications, financial management interfaces, and real estate portfolio dashboards. - Deliver features in short cycles with frequent production releases and direct user feedback. - Full-Stack Engineering & Integration - Develop performant, accessible, and responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. - Design and implement backend logic, data models, authentication, and row-level security using Supabase and PostgreSQL. - Build and consume REST APIs, including integrations with enterprise systems through endpoints exposed by Integration Developers. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Vercel with appropriate logging and observability. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner directly with business operators, plant managers, recruiters, and executives to understand requirements. - Translate fuzzy business requests into clearly scoped, shippable features. - Conduct user walkthroughs, gather feedback, and iterate quickly after release. - Collaborate with Integration Developers on API contracts and shared data flows. - Code Quality & Maintenance - Contribute to code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation. - Maintain high standards for readability, testing, security, and performance. - Monitor and triage production issues, deliver fixes, and improve reliability over time. - Leverage AI-augmented development tools to increase delivery velocity while maintaining quality. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience. - Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS. - Experience with Supabase or equivalent PostgreSQL-backed platforms, including authentication, row-level security, and edge functions. - Proficiency with Node.js and REST API design and consumption. - Experience deploying production applications on Vercel, AWS, or similar cloud platforms. - Demonstrated ability to work directly with non-technical business users and translate requirements into shipped software. - Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot). - Familiarity with automation platforms (n8n, Make, Zapier) is a plus. - Exposure to NetSuite or Salesforce APIs is a plus, though not required. Work Environment + Language Requirements - Global remote position - Requires at least 3 hours of overlap with U.S. Central Time each day - Minimal or no travel - Fluency in the English language; written and verbal proficiency (B2 level minimum on CEFR scale) - Reports to the Head of AI & Software
