Job Description

Oracle Consultant

Alithya

• Participate in business process workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements gathering sessions; • Assist in documenting and mapping business requirements to Oracle Cloud ERP Financials functionality and best practices; • Support configuration activities for Oracle Cloud Financials modules under the guidance of senior consultants; • Document process flows, configuration workbooks, and solution designs; • Develop and execute test scenarios, test scripts, and support SIT and UAT activities; • Track defects, validate fixes, and assist with issue resolution and testing remediation efforts; • Support data validation, reconciliation, reporting, and analytics activities using OTBI, BI Publisher, FDI, and standard dashboards; • Provide support during cutover, deployment, and go-live activities; • Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery; • Contribute to status reporting, task tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business, Economics, or a related field;
  • 0–2 years of experience in ERP systems, finance, accounting, business analysis, or management consulting;
  • Experience supporting documentation, process mapping, testing, or reporting activities;
  • Exposure to ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, NetSuite, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics is preferred;
  • Foundational understanding of finance and accounting processes including GL, AP, AR, budgeting, and financial reporting;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills;
  • Ability to learn new systems, technologies, and business processes quickly;
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured delivery methodologies;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, client-focused consulting environment.
  • Internship, project, or practical experience supporting ERP or enterprise system implementations;
  • Exposure to cloud applications or SaaS platforms;
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, OTBI, or BI Publisher;
  • Familiarity with system testing, user acceptance testing, and business process documentation;
  • Interest in pursuing Oracle Cloud ERP certifications and long-term consulting career development.
