MFP Manager
Deckers Brands
• Define and lead multi-season Merchandise Financial Plans for the NA marketplace • Adjust and align Merchandise Financial Plans to consumer architecture based on targets and actuals • Set and perform pre-season top-down financial business targets for class/category, gender, and channel to inform franchise/style plans, financial forecasts, and end-to-end inventory forecasts • Establish and execute inventory liquidation plans within and across channels • Reconcile top-down and bottom-up forecasts through a middle-out process • Determine cross-channel trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, optimize margin, and maintain marketplace inventory health • Incorporate financial reporting and budget requirements into merchandise plans and recommendations • Establish systematic methods and tools to monitor stock-to-sale ratios and sales trend data
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of experience in retail, planning, and/or product management
- Strong ability to influence and work constructively with others by communicating effectively
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, analytical capabilities, and attention to detail
- Ability to collate and understand relevant market data to inform the Merchandise Financial Plan, assess risk, and solve problems
- Strong command of retail metrics including retail sales, ST%, WOS, inventories, revenue, and margin, with the ability to manipulate data for efficient outcomes
