Account Manager

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the meat processing industry in France, with a focus on Brittany • Drive sales of stand-alone equipment and integrated primary processing lines • Identify customer needs and translate them into practical, value-driven processing solutions • Manage the sales process from prospecting and opportunity development through quotation, negotiation, and project handover • Work closely with Product Specialists and Sales Engineers to develop technical and commercial proposals • Support the successful implementation and delivery of sold solutions • Ensure a high level of customer experience and satisfaction throughout all stages of the sales cycle • Contribute to strategic account planning and annual sales plans for the region • Maintain an accurate CRM pipeline and proactively manage opportunities • Participate in exhibitions, customer demonstrations, and industry events • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer developments to identify future business opportunities

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or commercial field, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B technical sales, account management, or solution selling
  • Experience in food processing, meat processing, or industrial equipment is an advantage
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical processing solutions and translate them into customer value
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness
  • Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented personality
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across international teams
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel regularly within France and occasionally abroad (approximately 50%)
