Human Resource Recruiter

Role Description The contract HR Recruiter will report directly to CEO Yanika Daniels and have primary responsibilities of managing key phases of our recruitment efforts, from the identification of potential candidates to the interview and evaluation of candidates. The HR Recruiter will be liaising with clients to understand staffing needs and will execute plans to find qualified candidates. - Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. - Design and update job descriptions in alignment with client requirements. - Provide thought partnership on the development of the recruitment strategy and multi-channel approach. - Execute the recruitment strategy (i.e. advertise job openings on job board pages, social media, LinkedIn, etc.) in collaboration with DTS team members. - Work with DTS team members to help source potential candidates from various recruitment channels. - Own candidate management by crafting recruiting emails, responding to candidate concerns, conducting outreach to ensure a warm pipeline, and engaging and managing candidates. - Screen and interview candidates to identify top talent for various roles within client organizations. - Utilize anti-bias hiring practices to develop hiring tools for scoring and rating candidates and provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers. - Additional recruitment duties as assigned. Qualifications - Demonstrated expertise in human resources practices and principles or 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources Management and Talent Management roles. - Previous consulting experience required. - Deep understanding of the nonprofit and education landscape and its unique staffing needs. - Experience hiring and working with senior leadership teams (i.e. C-Suite, CEO, Board of Directors, etc.). - Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn, and resume databases. - Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to incorporate DEI principles into recruitment strategies. Benefits - Compensation: $55-65 per hour for up to 20 hours per week. - Compensation does not include medical or health benefits. - Compensation does include any key travel reimbursements for any foreseeable client travel. - The role presents an opportunity to become more permanent based on a 90-day performance review.
