Location - Remote, Texas USA - Candidate should be a Texas resident or willing to relocate to Texas by the time the hiring process is finalized - Quarterly travel will be required to Ethos hospital sites utilizing this role Anticipated Schedule - Full Time - Monday – Friday Compensation - $25 - $30/hr. based on skills and experience Job Summary The Centralized Scheduler works collaboratively with doctors and leadership to ensure doctor schedules are designed and maintained to meet the needs of clients, doctors, and the business. Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Understand needs of the various departments for doctor schedules. - Facilitate schedules between hospitals and departments to provide coverage for clients, including scheduled shifts, weekend, holiday and after-hours duties. - Monitor and adjust to scheduled and unscheduled time off needs to ensure services are covered appropriately. - Utilize technology to streamline and manage doctor schedule templates. - Identify and recommend scheduling process improvements and solutions. - Understand and propose alternatives for schedules based on clinical department needs and abilities. - Pull reports to review heat mapping data with site leaders and propose alternatives for schedule based on needs. - Organize and post schedules in a timely manner. - Effectively communicate with doctors on their schedule, where to find their schedule, and how to submit time off requests. - Effectively communicate with doctors and Medical Directors on schedule needs or changes. - Coordinate relief and specialist locum schedules and communication. - Facilitate doctor time off requests and scheduling with doctors and hospital leaders. - Appropriately partner with People & Culture on Leave of Absence questions and doctor communication. - Partner with Recruiting and People & Culture on scheduling orientation days and communications with new doctors. - Other duties as assigned. Essential Job Requirements - High School Diploma or equivalent - 3-5 years of clinical experience in a veterinary hospital. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively at all levels. - High professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Proficiency with hospital systems and Microsoft Office suite. - Reliable high-speed internet connection with the ability to support video conferencing, cloud-based systems, and daily remote communication without interruption. - Dedicated, professional home workspace that is quiet, organized, and conducive to maintaining productivity and confidentiality during working hours. - Ability to effectively work remotely with strong time management, organization, and self-motivation skills. - Ability to manage shifting priorities in a time-sensitive environment. - Ability to travel up to 1x per quarter. - Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus!
