Role Description Due to the continued growth of Zenzero — driven by both strong organic performance and an active acquisition strategy — we are creating a new Senior Accountant role to strengthen our Group Finance function. As the business expands, the complexity of our reporting, consolidation, and integration requirements has increased, and this role will play a key part in supporting that evolution. - Contribute to monthly and annual reporting. - Prepare group consolidation schedules. - Support quarterly submissions to our parent company. - Lead improvements in financial processes and automation. - Integrate newly acquired entities into Zenzero’s financial systems, controls, and reporting frameworks. - Ensure consistency and high-quality financial information across the Group. Qualifications - 5-6 years’ experience in a similar position. - Good knowledge of Xero required. - ConnectWise beneficial but not essential. Role: The Revenue Accountant will support the accuracy and integrity of Function Health’s revenue across all products—from subscriptions and advanced imaging to genomics and future launches. In this role, you will contribute to the monthly and quarterly close by preparing revenue-related journal entries, maintaining revenue schedules, and performing reconciliations across multiple revenue streams. You will apply established ASC 606 revenue recognition policies, help ensure revenue data is complete and aligned between operational systems and the general ledger, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve revenue-related data and billing issues. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare revenue-related journal entries as part of the monthly and quarterly close, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue. - Perform revenue-related balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve discrepancies in underlying data. - Maintain detailed revenue schedules and supporting documentation across multiple revenue streams. - Prepare customer invoices and manage follow-up on outstanding balances in coordination with cross-functional partners. - Maintain revenue-related accounts in the general ledger and support updates to accounting systems as new or modified revenue streams are introduced. - Assist with applying established ASC 606 revenue recognition policies to subscriptions, imaging services, and bundled offerings. - Support revenue reporting by product, revenue stream, and entity. - Partner with cross-functional teams to help resolve revenue-related data or billing issues. - Assist with audit requests by preparing documentation and support for revenue-related areas. - Identify and implement process improvements that reduce manual work, improve data quality, strengthen internal controls and streamline revenue accounting workflows as the business scales. Qualifications/Skills: - 3–6+ years of experience in accounting, with exposure to revenue accounting preferred. - Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly preferred. - Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles, with hands-on experience applying ASC 606. - Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations. - Strong data skills, including the ability to manipulate, analyze, and reconcile large datasets to identify discrepancies and root causes. - Comfort working within and helping improve accounting systems, billing platforms, and revenue tools. - Demonstrated ability to streamline processes and leverage automation to improve accuracy and efficiency. - Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Clear communication skills and willingness to collaborate across teams.
