CORE NETWORKING-ROUTING AND SWITCHING

Role Description - Perform firmware/OS patching and upgrades on network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) - Manage configuration updates, backups, and standardization across network infrastructure - Conduct pre/post upgrade validation to ensure network stability and minimal downtime - Perform L2 triage for network-related incidents, patch failures, and performance issues - Ensure security compliance by addressing vulnerabilities and applying recommended fixes - Maintain change records and participate in CAB approvals for network changes - Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams for coordinated execution Qualifications - Strong hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.) - Expertise in network OS upgrades, patching, and configuration management - Good understanding of routing, switching, firewall concepts - Experience in incident triage and troubleshooting - Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident/Change Management) Requirements - Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Python) for network configuration - Experience with vulnerability/remediation tools - Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) Benefits - Inclusive workplace with a focus on individuality and well-being - Opportunities for growth and learning
