Supplier Quality Engineer, Castings Team

• Oversee suppliers' performance, primarily through on-site visits and the use of the OASIS certification program • Work to make improvements and reduce the risk at high risk suppliers by issuing corrective action requests and performing audits • Provide daily support for quality/product related issues • Analyze and make recommendations on quality data and the development of part/supplier specific quality issue resolution • Assist in the development of corrective actions for systemic process and product design problems • Review product requirements and metrics and make recommendations • Manage supplier quality issues through monitoring and escalation processes • Analyze quality data to identify systemic issues and develop supplier specific quality initiative strategies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Materials Engineering, or related field
- 2–8 years of experience in supplier quality, process engineering, or manufacturing engineering
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications (GD&T)
- Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9145, APQP, PPAP, and special processes
- Experience with root‑cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality tools
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
