Operations Executive
Booth and Partners Pte Ltd
Role Description This role focuses on event layout design, planning, and optimisation across HYROX events in APAC. You will collaborate closely with regional and global teams to translate operational requirements into clear, efficient, and scalable venue layouts, covering: - Racecourse design - Athlete flow - Spectator experience - Partner activations This is a planning-first role, with most work done remotely. Occasional travel may be required for selected events to support on-site validation and continuous improvement. Qualifications - Experience in event planning, spatial design, architecture, engineering, or related fields (Entry-level candidates with relevant academic or project experience are welcome) - Proficiency in CAD or layout design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks, or similar) - Strong spatial thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to translate concepts into practical layouts - Comfortable working in a remote, cross-regional environment with multiple stakeholders - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to travel occasionally for key events (selective, not frequent) - Passion for sports, fitness, or live events is a plus - Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are an advantage Requirements - Create and refine event floorplans using CAD-based tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Vectorworks) - Design and integrate key zones, including: - Racecourse - Start/finish areas - Warm-up and recovery zones - Merchandise areas - Partner activations - Ensure layouts are clear, structured, and scalable across different venue types - Plan athlete and spectator flow to ensure safe, efficient, and engaging event experiences - Support start wave configuration and capacity planning as events scale - Translate operational inputs into practical layout solutions - Partner with internal teams (Operations, Race Management, Commercial, Merchandise, Experience) to align layouts with functional requirements - Incorporate sponsor and partner requirements while maintaining overall event flow - Work within venue specifications, guidelines, and constraints to ensure feasibility - Ensure layouts comply with local regulations, safety standards, and operational requirements - Iterate layouts based on post-event learnings and feedback from on-ground teams - Standardise best practices across events to improve efficiency and consistency - Develop and maintain layout schematics, flow maps, and planning templates - Build and manage a structured repository of layouts as a single source of truth - Support the development of internal playbooks and guidelines Company Description HYROX is the world’s fastest-growing fitness race, operating across five continents with a global community of athletes and partners.
