Assistant Channel Manager – Field HTAS
Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.
• Provide strategic and operational support for marketing activities to achieve operating plans for the business and contribute to the profitability, promotion, pricing, merchandising and new product plans • Build and manage relationships with key cross-functional partners and decision-makers, ensuring open and prompt communication. • Gain understanding of customer and sales objectives and priorities, identifying areas of alignment and opportunities for mutual benefit. • Develop and deliver proposals and business plans that meet both sales and customer needs. • Set up and deliver presentations and other actions designed to enhance customer understanding of products/services and increase sales. • Monitor sales, inventory, market share, and competitive landscapes and analyze performance trends to identify issues and opportunities. • Work with sales teams to address customer concerns and identify improvement opportunities, as required. • Travel required up to 10%.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of two plus (2+) years of Product, Sales and/or Marketing with a record of demonstrated achievement
- Project management experience and skills; strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; conflict management and problem-solving abilities
- Analytical skills with good understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required, advanced Excel and Power Point skills needed.
- Knowledge of SalesForce, SAP, BW, Ariba a plus
