How this role transforms workplaces: - Together with a cross-department implementation team, the Implementation Specialist works magic with data (a whiz at Excel!) and serves as the primary system configuration guru and technical support for new clients on our payroll platform. - From data conversion to client training, this role is a master of the details with a strong client-service mindset. - Managing multiple projects at one time, the Implementation Specialist requires steadfast organization and a collaborative communication style. Responsibilities: - 70% Data Conversion & System Set up for New Clients: - New client set up inside Payroll/HRIS platform - Lead live Payroll/HRIS system troubleshooting and/or client system training - Quality control, auditing (data + system configuration/setup) - Accurately map prior payroll data to Payroll/HRIS platform with understanding impact configuration on federal, state and local taxes - Process first payrolls accurately, on time, and in accordance with wage and hour laws and Xenium best practices - Configure and test GL file as requested (new & existing clients) - Work collaboratively with the Payroll Team to ensure a smooth transition of the client to ongoing service, including relevant checklists, details discovered during implementation, report needs, etc. - 20% Cross-functional Team Support: - Contribute to HRIS Team queue case management, responding to internal tickets and escalations and resolving timely. - Process payrolls for existing clients in collaboration with the Payroll Team for out-of-office coverage of Payroll Specialists. - Back-up resource for system demos for prospective clients - 5% Process Documentation & Improvement: - Seek process improvement for implementation cycle and overall internal and client experience for implementation and document in knowledgebase as needed. - Support with written training guides, video tutorials, and other client training resources - 5% Individual Development: - Continuously expand knowledge on payroll system and processes Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field or 3–5 years of experience in payroll processing and implementation, client onboarding, client services, or project management, in a PEO, HR outsourcing, payroll, or HRIS environment required. - PrismHR experience as a technical service provider required. - Strong customer-facing experience in an implementation or onboarding role; works collaboratively within a cross-functional team. - Project management & organizational skills – ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously. - Superior attention to detail & a knack for data analysis and critical thinking. - Process improvement mindset – ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to the implementation process. - Adaptability & flexibility - ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
