Billing and Revenue Analyst

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices across subscription, appraisal, and implementation revenue streams. • Validate billing details against signed customer contracts. • Maintain recurring billing schedules, manage renewals, and ensure timely, accurate billing cycles. • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including journal entries. • Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules. • Perform monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts and investigate variances. • Support analyses of ARR/MRR movement, churn, expansions, and contract modifications. • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate billing and revenue processes to improve accuracy and scalability. • Contribute to financial systems improvements and process enhancements tied to PE‑driven growth initiatives (e.g., workflow automation, reporting visibility). • Collaborate closely with the broader Finance & Accounting team to ensure timely close and accurate internal reporting. • Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests. • Respond to customer billing inquiries professionally and accurately.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- 2–4+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or accounting
- Strong understanding of SaaS subscription models, contract billing, and revenue processes
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) with strong analytical skills
- High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
- Experience in a PE‑backed, high‑growth SaaS environment preferred
- Hands‑on experience with ERP, CRM, or billing platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
