• Mentor the team to close their knowledge gap on any areas they feel is lacking to increase the team’s overall productivity • Accept mentoring from others to shorten onboarding time and first production commit. • Lead efforts at the epic-level in JIRA and provide guidance to your peers working alongside you. • Coordinate with the other senior-level team members on advancing our best practices and efforts to raise the level of confidence both within the team and our stakeholders. • Represent the team as a subject matter expert (SME) for all assigned initiatives. • Create at least two (2) new innovations, per years, for our platform that add value to our stakeholders and members.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Proficient in at least 2 languages/frameworks beyond APEX and Javascript (e.g. Java, NodeJs, React, etc).
- Functional ANSI-SQL skills and willing to adapt to any of its variants (e.g. DB2, MSSQL, Postgres)
- Functional experience with IAAS environments like AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Adept at taking on new challenges in technology and methodologies
- Clear understanding of basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies

Role Description The Department of Economic Security, Division of Technology Services (DTS), is seeking an experienced and highly motivated professional to join our team as an Applications Developer. This position will serve as a Salesforce Applications Developer. The position programs, analyzes, and runs tests on Salesforce, including documentation, diagram, and flowchart and software development procedures used to verify that Salesforce functions according to user requirements, and conforms to establishment guidelines. The position also interprets issues and recommends solutions or best practices. This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the department's needs and continual meetings of expected performance measures.
