Role Description In this System Administrator role, the ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day operations and technical issues, as well as participation in the initiation and planning phases of organizational projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and supporting Windows environments with VMware, Active Directory, Clusters, and SQL & IIS Services. Experience in supporting these environments in healthcare will be preferable. - Responsible for the configuration/installation/upgrades, performance monitoring, security, and continual improvement of our client’s server and Applications. - Responsible for supporting our client infrastructure applications, including Microsoft SQL Servers, Active Directory and Core Windows components like IIS, Clusters and File system. - Responsible for New Server build, Application installation & configuration as per Product requirement. - Responsible for upgrading and maintaining the Applications in coordination with Project Management Team. - Coordinate with all the internal teams to complete the projects and related tasks. - Responsible for continuous improvement and enhancement of Infrastructure-related services. - Analyze technical and business needs and recommend solutions. - Maintain positive relationships with clients, end users, vendors, and consultants. - Maintain current working knowledge in systems and hardware, and incorporate new developments into the future systems of the enterprise. - Good Communication & Email Skills are mandatory. Qualifications - 0-1 Year of administrating enterprise Windows and Virtual Environment. - Experience with building servers as per standards will be an added advantage. - Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage. - Experience / Knowledge with monitoring tools and antivirus will be an added advantage. - Experience / Knowledge in planning, design, and installation of any application. - Health care IT experience will be preferred. Role Description - Windows Server Administration - Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server systems (2012r2, 2016, 2019, 2022). - Manage server roles such as DNS, DHCP, File Services, and Print Services. - Perform regular patching, upgrades, and system performance monitoring. - Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues to ensure minimal downtime. - Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover solutions. - Monitor server health using tools like Microsoft System Center or other monitoring solutions. - Active Directory Management - Manage and maintain Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, including forests, domains, and trusts. - Implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and administrative standards. - Ensure the security of AD by configuring account policies, auditing, and monitoring. - Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in AD. - Plan and execute AD migrations, upgrades, and restructuring. - Integrate and manage Azure Active Directory and hybrid environments. - Security and Compliance - Apply best practices for securing Windows Servers and AD environments. - Implement and manage role-based access control (RBAC). - Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities. - Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. - Conduct regular audits of server and AD configurations. - Documentation and Reporting - Maintain accurate documentation for server configurations, AD structures, and processes. - Provide regular reports on system performance, incidents, and compliance metrics. - Develop and update runbooks, guides, and SOPs for server and AD operations. - Leadership and Collaboration - Assist in planning and executing IT infrastructure projects. - Provide technical guidance and training to junior administrators. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. Qualifications - Total 7+ year of experience - Must be willing to work in any shifts - Proven experience in managing Windows Server environments (2012 and above). - Expertise in Active Directory management and troubleshooting. - Proficiency with PowerShell for automation and scripting. - Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). - Experience with security frameworks (e.g., MFA, PKI, and identity management). - Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware. - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and hybrid AD setups.
