Job Requirements
- Enrollment in the following degree programs: Psychology, Sociology, Human Services. General Studies with a concentration in these areas
- Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
- Work study as part of the financial aid package
- 18 years of age
- Must complete and pass a background check
- Must have your own laptop/desktop computer with reliable internet

We are looking for part-time, Behavioral Health Specialists. This role is unique because it is ALL VIRTUAL, can be part-time or full time and offers independent scheduling. You will facilitate curriculum with clients (that range from 8 years old into adulthood) with the goal of overcoming barriers to daily functioning. You are provided with training, and ongoing support for the curriculum used. We are looking for people who can connect with clients through Telehealth effectively. - Develop and maintain a service relationship with client, family, and caregivers to provide them support as appropriate. - Provide psychosocial education and training specific to the individual’s assessed needs, abilities and readiness to learn as identified in the Treatment Plan (e.g. social, coping, and conflict resolution skills). - Facilitate further development of daily living skills, if identified by the individual and/or parent or guardian. - Accurately and promptly document and maintain the confidentiality of client and family interactions including, legal, financial, and clinical documentation within agency guidelines. - Identify urgent, unsafe and crisis situations and escalate to therapist or supervisor. - Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning for PSR Programs. - Review and monitor client progress; including monitoring symptoms and advocate for the client. - Meet with Supervisor and/or Mentoring Therapist for weekly supervision. - Attend and participate in agency/team/clinical meetings, including mandatory trainings, and treatment coordination. - Ensure that clients are in the proper educational setting for most effective outcome. - Maintain ongoing frequent contact with other assigned OhioGuidestone professionals, parents or outside agency professionals assigned to case. - May serve as a liaison to coordinate, make referrals, or arrange for appropriate community resources when needed, acts as an advocate for the client as needed. - Promote an inclusive work environment and present the Agency in the most positive light with all internal and external contacts. - Exhibit positivity, flexibility and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required. *Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) service activities include, but are not limited to the following: - (a) Restoration, rehabilitation and support of daily functioning to improve self-management of the negative effects of psychiatric or emotional symptoms that interfere with a person’s daily functioning; - (b) Restoration and implementation of daily functioning and daily routines critical to remaining successfully in home, school, work, and community; - (c) Rehabilitation and support to restore skills to function in a natural community environment.
