• As a Senior Solution Advisory Consultant (m/f/d), you support new and existing customers by delivering high‑quality, value‑driven advisory throughout the sales cycle. • You engage directly with finance and business stakeholders, translating complex challenges—across financial reporting, close, and planning—into compelling, outcome‑oriented solution narratives. • You play a critical role in winning opportunities through impactful demonstrations, proofs of value, and expert presales support. • You work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Partners to continuously improve sales effectiveness, accelerate deal cycles, and enhance customer outcomes. • Present and position Jedox solutions: Deliver engaging online and onsite demonstrations at customer meetings, executive sessions, trade fairs, conferences, and webinars—clearly linking product capabilities to FP&A use cases such as planning, forecasting, reporting, and close. • Understand customer challenges and quantify value: Engage with CFOs, Heads of Controlling, and finance teams to identify key pain points across financial reporting, consolidation, and planning processes. • Translate these into clear business value, articulating measurable outcomes and impact. • Design and deliver Proofs of Concept (POC) and Proofs of Value (POV): Create high-impact POCs/POVs that reflect real customer scenarios, demonstrating tangible business benefits and aligning with FP&A best practices to support winning complex deals. • Support RFI/RFP/RFQ processes: Contribute solution expertise to high-quality responses, ensuring strong alignment between customer requirements, business value, and Jedox capabilities. • Enable sales teams and partners: Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Partner teams, supporting pipeline generation, deal strategy, and qualification—especially in complex, finance-led transformation opportunities. • Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement: Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Delivery, Product Management, and Partner teams to share best practices, refine messaging, and continuously improve win rates, sales cycles, and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in a Sales Engineering or Pre‑Sales role, ideally combined with strong financial and management expertise.
  • Proven experience as an FP&A practitioner with hands‑on exposure to financial planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
  • Solid understanding of Financial Reporting, Month‑End Close processes, and Enterprise Planning (budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning).
  • Experience engaging with senior finance stakeholders, including Heads of Controlling, Finance Directors, and C‑level executives (especially CFOs).
  • University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, applied confidently for analysis, modelling, and decision support.
  • Experience with multidimensional databases (e.g., Jedox, OLAP, TM1, Infor, Essbase) and/or enterprise EPM / planning solutions (e.g., Jedox, Board, Anaplan, SAP Analytics Cloud) is highly desirable.
  • Strong interest in working with new customers, industries, and complex business challenges, bringing a strategic and value‑driven perspective to each engagement.
  • Structured, organized, and detail‑oriented working style, ensuring quality and consistency across presales activities.
