ALEMI
• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time • Help prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports together with the founders • Assist with accounts payable and receivable – invoicing, payment tracking, supplier reconciliation • Support budget monitoring and variance analysis: flag what's off, suggest why • Help coordinate with our external accountant/Treuhänder and prepare documents for tax and audit processes • Build and maintain Excel-based reporting templates that give the team financial clarity • Assist with ad hoc financial analyses – profitability by product, channel economics, cost tracking • Help keep our financial processes clean and documented as the company grows
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics – or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping fundamentals (double-entry, accruals, basic Swiss GAAP or OR knowledge is a plus)
- Strong Excel skills – you're comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and structured data
- Precise, reliable, and someone who cares about getting the details right
- Able to work independently once you understand the task – you don't need someone checking every step
- Fluent in German and English (both used daily)
- Bonus: experience with accounting software (e.g. Bexio, Abacus) or Shopify financial reporting. But we'll teach you what you need.
