Role Description The Vice President, of Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI will lead the enterprise strategy, governance, and execution of all data, analytics, and artificial intelligence initiatives. This executive will be responsible for driving data as a strategic asset, embedding advanced analytics and AI across the business, and enabling decision-making, client experiences, and operational excellence. This leader should have a product mindset to help drive measurable efficiency and revenue impact from our Data & AI initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this VP will work closely with business and technology leaders to ensure data innovation aligns with company growth, retention, and transformation goals. What You Will Do - Strategic Leadership - Define and execute the enterprise data, analytics, and AI vision in alignment with organizational strategy and digital transformation. - Build and lead a high-performing global data and analytics team spanning data engineering, data science, business intelligence, and AI/ML. - Establish and oversee enterprise data governance, quality, and compliance (including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and industry regulations as applicable). - Innovation & Enablement - Re-imagine how we deliver operationally end-to-end to remove friction across the talent supply chain, automate repetitive work, and embed AI and analytics throughout. - Drive adoption of advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI solutions to enhance customer experience, revenue growth, and operational efficiencies. - Partner with business units to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact use cases leveraging data and AI. - Oversee the design of scalable data platforms, architectures, and tools to support real-time analytics, self-service, and enterprise reporting. - Collaboration & Influence - Serve as the key data and AI leader to the executive team, Board, and stakeholders. - Collaborate with CDTO, CIO, CISO, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Client Services leaders to ensure data capabilities meet evolving business needs. - Build strong external partnerships with vendors, startups, and research institutions to keep the company at the forefront of data and AI innovation. - Operational Excellence - Simplify the talent supply chain from REQ to offboarding to reduce friction for internal teams while improving the experience for hiring managers, workers, suppliers, and Magnit Global staff. - Develop, measure and communicate the business value of data and AI investments through KPIs, ROI metrics, and outcomes tied to revenue growth, retention, and efficiency. - Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships for data/AI initiatives ensuring we accelerate innovation in areas that maximize positive impact for the enterprise. - Ensure ethical AI practices, transparency, and risk management in all deployments. Qualifications - 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in data management, analytics, or AI, with at least 7 years in senior leadership roles. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field required; Master’s or PhD preferred, equivalent professional experience considered. - Proven success in leading enterprise-scale data/analytics transformation and deploying AI/ML solutions in complex global organizations. - Ability to lead organizational change, build executive alignment, and drive adoption across non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated expertise in cloud data platforms, data warehousing, machine learning frameworks, and advanced analytics tools. - Preferred tech stack experience includes: - Cloud: AWS and Azure - Data: Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Kafka, Airflow, Iceberg - Visualization: PowerBI & Sigma - AI: Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude - Agentic / Generative AI: LLMs, RAG architectures, prompt engineering at scale, AI agents, MCP servers, NLM Compensation Salary range is $250,000-$275,000 USD annually. Salary rates based on experience, skills, and geographical location.
