Content Manager, Growth

Empower Life Collective

• Design, document, and run the Content Waterfall System - turning every long-form video into platform-native short-form content and social posts • Own the organic content calendar and publishing cadence across all channels • Manage the video editing team day-to-day - review all cuts for quality, pacing, hooks, and brand alignment • Run the weekly editor meeting; hold the team to deadlines and quality standards • Own thumbnail and title testing strategy in collaboration with Head of Marketing - drive CTR improvement across YouTube and social • Track organic performance and deliver weekly reports; iterate based on data • Create SOPs and repeatable workflows for content production and editing • Work closely with the Paid team to share winning hooks, themes, and messaging • Support the rollout of additional channels (LinkedIn, blog, podcast) as the brand scales • Monitor and maintain brand reputation across key content and community platforms.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years managing content production or editing teams in async, remote-first environments
  • Proven experience reviewing video edits and giving quality, pacing, and creative feedback
  • Experience with short-form content distribution - Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok
  • Experience building Content Waterfall systems, SOPs, and repeatable workflows
  • Analytics literate - you know which metrics matter and make decisions based on data
  • Background in coaching, info-products, or online education (preferred)
  • A systems thinker - you build processes, not one-off solutions
  • Self-directed - you see what needs doing and you do it without being told
  • A direct communicator - you give honest feedback, run tight meetings, and hold people accountable
  • Async-first - you work well in Slack/Loom environments without needing constant check-in
  • Brand-sensitive - you can absorb a voice and ensure every piece of content sounds right
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve production speed, ideation, and workflow

Role Description This is not a social media specialist role.
