Basic Requirements - Working as a freelancer with excellent communication skills with full professional proficiency in English and Icelandic - Being a resident in Iceland for the last 3 consecutive years and having familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in Iceland - Active use of Gmail, Google+, and other forms of social media and experience in the use of web browsers to navigate and interact with a variety of content - Daily access to a broadband internet connection, a smartphone (Android 4.1, iOS 8 or higher), and a personal computer with antivirus software to work on. You'll also need a Barcode Scanner application to be installed on your smartphone to complete certain tasks. - This is an explicit human evaluation role. Live task rating requires authentic human judgment, perspective, and evaluation Assessment In order to be hired into the program, you'll take a language assessment and an open book qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification. • Complete the notarization of customer documents • Verify the authenticity of important documents while working remotely • Explain the notarization procedure to clients and ensure customer satisfaction • Review and verify signer’s identity according to applicable commissioning state’s requirements • Ensure the signer’s understanding of the document and willingness to sign • Review documents for completeness and certificate wording • Administer acknowledgement and jurat notarial acts • Record the notarization in a digital notary journal as required by state law • Certify the authenticity of signatures on important legal documents • Provide feedback to the notary team on features, improvements, and bugs • Utilize an account portal to manage communication with users • Maintaining certification as mandated by state • Assist with testing and quality assurance, when needed
