The Opportunity This role is responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordination of project activities and resources for assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. This role also serves as the primary contact for our clients throughout their software implementation projects. These projects may involve implementing a combination of software, hardware, and services for an organization. This role is responsible for successfully managing interactions between different internal departments and clients and vendors to fulfill our contractual obligations. The work performed in this role will directly impact the team's productivity, effectiveness, and overall customer satisfaction. Job Duties Include: - Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects. - Assembles the project team, assigns individual responsibilities, identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project. - Subject-matter expert knowledge of the implementation process and contractual language. - Acts as a mentor to the PM team and helps train new hires. - Leads technical discussions between product and operations on process improvement for specific modules. - Drives and refines the process. - Works on the most challenging and large-scale projects with minimal supervision. - Works independently or in a team environment and shares knowledge with others. - Displays good communication skills with a customer service focus. - Comfortably and effectively presents to audiences of various sizes. - Manages a strategic portfolio including high revenue engagements with little to no supervision. - May conduct one on ones with team members. - Assists team members on escalations when needed for small/medium size projects. Consult on large size projects with the help of manager. - Maintains current and identify new professional services tools and/or software to increase productivity. - May lead large group meetings on process and product. - May lead weekly team meetings and provide weekly status notes - May communicate and review work assignments with the team. - May work with team members to proactively avoid repeat problems for future implementations. - May create weekly financial milestones, monthly forecasting for revenue recognition, and end-of-month project percent complete. - May create forecasts of revenue for projects. - Performs all other duties as assigned Requirements: - B.A. or B.S. Degree with PMP and/or CSM certifications - 2-4 years of experience in Project Management - Master’s Degree preferred - Must have advanced skills in project management and implementation processes and methodologies (including but not limited to PMBOK and SCRUM) - Must have demonstrated leadership experience in managing complex teams and clients while mentoring and driving seamless collaboration - Must have a proven track record contributing, creating, and implementing project management processes and methodologies - Must have advanced experience and proficiency in deploying, configuring, and/or managing various PM tools for the management of schedules, milestones, risks, issues, forecasts CJIS Clearance A required part of the onboarding process for this role involves obtaining CJIS (Criminal Justice Information Services) clearance—a critical credential for safeguarding public safety data.
