Role Description The Admissions Application Review Specialist position is a seasonal work-from-home, part-time, temporary position that is non-benefits eligible for the period of August 1, 2026, thru January 31, 2027. Specialists are required to participate in several paid online training sessions to be scheduled August through early September. Specialists must be certified by training staff as adequately prepared to holistically review undergraduate applications. After training is complete and specialists are certified to review applications, all hires must be available to work between 15 to 19 hours per week (approximately 75-120 files per week) starting mid-September 2026 including during holiday weeks through the end of January, when enough work is available. Actual hours will be dependent on the amount of work available and will vary throughout the application review cycle. Responsibilities - Review and evaluate a high volume of applications for undergraduate admission using the University's online, individualized and comprehensive holistic review process in accordance with the Office of Admissions guidelines, policies and procedures. - Expected to read a minimum of 5 applications per hour when enough work is available. - Meet Admissions Application Review Specialist expectations including: - Consistently meeting weekly application review expectations (approximately 75-120 files per week), September 2025 through end of January 2026. - Keeping up-to-date with communications and any procedural or guideline changes, which might impact review of applications. - Applying feedback and guidance provided about the holistic review process. - Maintaining consistent and timely communication and interaction with application review coordinators as well as other staff as needed during the review process. - Actively participate in online training sessions and complete periodic application review tasks.
