Role Description As an experienced quality contributor, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and scalability of Lightspeed’s products within an agile team environment. - Take ownership of quality assurance within your squad, operating with minimal guidance and ensuring high testing standards. - Act as a subject matter expert for your team’s domain, supporting regression testing and new feature development. - Guide testing activities and collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to ensure the right solutions are delivered. - Design and execute comprehensive test plans, including boundary and edge-case coverage. - Support other squads as needed by sharing knowledge and contributing as a secondary quality resource. - Identify and troubleshoot issues using testing and monitoring tools, providing actionable feedback to improve product quality. - Contribute to release planning by estimating testing timelines and feature readiness. - Partner with automation teams by identifying valuable test cases and workflows suitable for automation. Qualifications - 2–4 years of dedicated Software Quality Assurance experience. - Experience testing platforms such as Salesforce, Zendesk, and Intercom. - Proven experience as a quality contributor, with strong familiarity in bug tracking and management systems. - Strong ability to work effectively within agile, self-directed teams. - Experience testing high-availability web applications across test, staging, and production environments. - Understanding of system integration and contract testing, with exposure to API testing tools such as Postman. - Ability to independently manage daily QA priorities in coordination with the wider team.
