Role Description Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Industrial Engineer of Supply Chain & Procurement - Buyer to work in our Canonsburg, PA, office. The hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Industrial Engineer of Supply Chain & Procurement - Buyer will report to the Procurement Manager, will perform the duties described below, and will be considered an Exempt employee. - Promptly purchase all commodities and technical equipment (e.g., pumps, valves, controls, vessels, and piping) for the manufacturer of water and wastewater treatment systems. - Copy data and compile records and reports. - Operate computer terminal to input and retrieve data. - Purchase supplies. - Data entry of all purchase orders. - Assist other departments when required. - Review requisitions. - Confer with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. - Prepare purchase orders or bid requests. - Receive and contact vendors to find out the status of an order. - Contact vendors with discrepancies in quantity and quality. - Interface with all departments and resolve problems and issues with needed purchase items. - Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority. - Travel when needed to meet project requirements. - This role can be done remotely but requires 30-50% travel. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - Two (2) years of experience is preferred. - One (1) year of experience with SAP is preferred. Requirements - Ability to get quotations from vendors for projects & review them. - Ability to negotiate supplier prices and purchase commodities for projects expediting to meet the due date. - Ability to approve supplier invoices, manage appropriate purchasing budget, check for missing material in the shop, and follow up on partial deliveries. - Ability to maintain budget reports. - Ability to handle nonconformance with the Quality department. - Knowledge of industrial water and wastewater treatment systems is preferred. - Prior purchasing experience with international vendors is desired. - Working knowledge of SAP. • Takes ownership of the deployment process as soon as a sale or lease agreement is signed • Schedules kick-off meetings with customers and plans shipping with the carrier • Own resolution of any outstanding equipment or support issues • Monitor tracking and delivery of robots at each customer location

Role Description Under general supervision of the Director – Manufacturer Operations & Data Services (MODS) and overall MODS/Secure Supply Chain leadership, this role is responsible for analyzing and supporting the effectiveness of existing supply chain processes as it relates to the supply chain activity, most importantly ensuring manufacturer compliance to the DSCSA by supplying data for all inbound shipments, as well as all outbound shipments to our downstream customers, while also helping our Distribution Center network in the identification and resolution of exceptions. Recommends and contributes to improved strategies to ensure DSCSA compliance for both Cencora and our upstream and downstream trading partners. - Perform first responder duties for all inbound supplier shipments & outbound shipments where exceptions occur by creating and sending incident reports to our Manufacturer partners and tracking to resolution. - Work with Distribution Operations and Cencora’s manufacturer partners to track and resolve logistics and product packaging issues that affect operational productivity and/or compliance. - Works closely with suppliers and other functional areas to improve inbound data quality and resolve missing data and errors. - Evaluates, develops, and implements process improvements that improve effectiveness and improves the quality or magnitude of the end result. - Provide technical and analytical support to MODS, SGS, and other teams as needed. - Additional responsibilities as determined by the Manufacturer Operations team. Qualifications - Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. - Normally requires one (1) to two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience. - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. - Knowledge of ABC policies, programs & services and products. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical skills. - Strong mathematical skills. - Strong organizational skills; attention to detail. - Ability to implement processes resulting in satisfactory audit practices. - Strong computer skills in order to operate effectively with company systems and programs; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
