Sales Engineer

• Lead the solution evaluation phase of enterprise pursuits, ensuring alignment between client-defined success metrics and demonstrated capabilities. • Partner with Sales Executives to shape deal strategy and executive-level positioning. • Conduct structured discovery to uncover financial, operational, and technical priorities. • Identify client success metrics and decision criteria to guide solution positioning. • Translate client challenges into business-aligned solution narratives supported by 3E and its cloud ecosystem. • Articulate solution value in the context of client-defined business outcomes and KPIs. • Design and deliver tailored demonstrations and workshops aligned to measurable client priorities. • Deliver polished, executive-ready presentations that clearly connect solution capabilities to measurable business impact. • Support pricing and commercial discussions by reinforcing business value and solution differentiation. • Support RFI/RFP responses through requirements alignment and solution narrative development. • Participate in account planning alongside Sales and cross-functional partners. • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Services to ensure solution alignment and market feedback. • Provide structured field insights to influence product direction and go-to-market priorities. • Ensure disciplined deal execution through accurate opportunity alignment and forecasting collaboration. • Manage multiple concurrent opportunities while maintaining a high standard of quality and responsiveness. • Contribute to firm-wide client webinars, product briefings, and thought-leadership sessions. • Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in legal, finance, or technology focus preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of experience supporting enterprise software solutions within the legal industry or comparable enterprise environments.
- Experience with Practice Management Systems (including 3E) strongly preferred.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of PMS solutions, ideally 3E, including configuration and implementation experience.
- Background in legal finance, legal operations, IT systems, or consulting within the legal industry.
- Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor in complex, consultative sales environments.
- Strong discovery, solution design, and storytelling skills, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to business outcomes.
- Confidence engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Clear, concise, and compelling communicator, both written and verbal.
- Methodical problem-solver with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Understanding of value-based selling principles and the ability to align solution messaging to client KPIs.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity, managing deadlines, and balancing multiple priorities.
- Highly self-directed, collaborative, and effective within a matrixed organization.
- Ability to travel up >50% as business needs require.
- Role requires the following physical capacity: Light: up to 20 lbs – occasional lifting or movement of light objects.

• As part of the Revenue Operations team, your goals will be to build, implement and iterate on processes to support and scale the Sales function to achieve revenue targets • You will drive product activation during trials by providing an excellent experience to our customers and ultimately assist the sales team with closing new business by doing the following: • Support prospects during trials/proof of concepts (POC) of the platform • Identifying prospect pain points and challenges during trials/POCs of the platform while also defining their goals and influencing their requirements • Be the technical point of contact for any support queries during the trial process • Assist with customer security assessments, RFPs, and business cases as required • Work collaboratively with the team to improve the trial/POC experience for our customers by identifying key insights, trends, and areas of improvement in the trial process and developing solutions to mitigate them
• Deliver pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, presentations, technical guidance, proof of concepts, and RfX responses. • Act as the go-to technical expert on Ping Identity solutions for customers, partners, and internal teams. • Establish enduring relationships with customers and become their trusted advisor • Collaborate with the sales team to deliver revenue.
