• Provides financial oversight, leadership, and support to the market/corporate • Manages the execution of the annual budget/quarterly forecast • Works with senior management and team to implement new business activities and process improvements • Develops strategy supporting the FP&A function • Responsible for budget to actual analysis monthly • Provides support for proforma work related to RFPs, mergers, and acquisitions for new business activities • Responsible for end-to-end planning process including project management oversight • Responsible for contract reviews for administrative costs • Guides and oversees the process for compilation of data and reporting • Provides insight into the risk sensitivity associated with current and future business drivers • Responsible for ensuring budget policy and procedures are in compliance with Model Audit Rule requirements • Participates in various meetings with leadership including strategic planning • Performs ad hoc and trending analysis • Responsible for staffing decisions, management of departmental staff and expense budget

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent graduate degree is preferred
  • A minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in accounting/finance, to include a minimum of eight (8) years of management experience
  • Managed care or healthcare experience is preferred
  • Familiar with variety of financial analysis concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Familiar with variety of accounting concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or Statutory Accounting Principles (STAT)
  • Intermediate proficiency level with Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SAP, SAC, BPC and/or business intelligence (BI) tools is preferred but not required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Account (CMA), Association for Financial Professionals (AFP) FP&A, or related certification is preferred

Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Location 100% Remote (UK) This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join the Finance team within Form3. This role will act as a key financial partner to all units across the business, influencing and challenging senior stakeholders to improve performance, optimise cost structures and strengthen unit economics. With previous experience leading a team of FP&A experts, you will hold responsibility for driving forecasting accuracy, commercial understanding and long-term value creation through rigorous analysis, scenario modelling and forward-looking insights. Key Responsibilities - Lead, develop and mentor a team of Finance Business Partners, creating a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. - Design, implement and embed a scalable Finance Business Partnering model, ensuring clear alignment with business units and consistent delivery of commercial insights. - Take ownership of all cycles of financial forecasting, including budgeting, long-range planning, re-forecasting and monthly performance review. - Present financial insights and recommendations to the Executive team and the Board, translating complex analyses into clear, actionable narratives. - Contribute to key fundraising activities through the preparation of investor materials and engagement with stakeholders. - Partner closely with Product, Technology, Operations and Commercial teams to support strategic initiatives, pricing, investment cases and go-to-market decisions. - Lead on the development of dashboards, KPIs and reporting frameworks that enhance transparency, and track financial and operational performance. - Drive continuous refinement of forecasting models, financial tools and planning processes, introducing best practice FP&A methodologies. - Ensure that the FP&A team operates with strong governance and consistent standards within a robust control environment. WE’RE LOOKING FOR Essential Form3’s Finance team is a critical function within the business, so we are looking for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) who has a strategic mindset combined with hands-on capability, with the aptitude to move between big-picture thinking and detailed analysis. - Extensive FP&A Leadership experience, ideally within a high-growth, technology-led or financial services environment. - Experience within a start-up / scale-up environment, ideally within a SaaS company. - Demonstrated success in building and managing Finance Business Partnering teams, with strong coaching capability and a commitment to developing talent. - Proven experience in corporate finance, with the ability to support investor engagement and deliver high-quality financial materials. - The ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, with a collaborative approach and strong commercial acumen. - Deep expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting and scenario analysis. - Experience implementing planning systems, reporting tools and performance management frameworks. - Strong communication skills, with the ability to distil complex financial concepts into impactful and persuasive insights.
