• Facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficient project execution • Serve as the primary client contact to define project scope and gather detailed requirements • Develop capital construction plans that support grid modernization initiatives • Design and implement technical solutions to address client distribution system challenges • Perform distribution-level planning studies to evaluate system performance and identify improvements • Produce high-quality deliverables, including: System study reports, Consultative reports, Capital construction planning documents, Cost-benefit analyses, Construction specifications • Partner with clients to create customized solutions addressing distribution grid issues and advancing modernization goals • Provide detailed oversight of QA/QC processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of team deliverables

• Assist with HVAC system design for residential and commercial projects in The Bahamas • Learn and apply engineering standards and practical design approaches for Caribbean environments • Perform HVAC load calculations and equipment selections • Prepare mechanical design drawings and specifications • Produce shop drawings and as-built documentation • Complete material takeoffs for estimating and bidding purposes • Support proposal and bid preparation for upcoming projects • Coordinate with field teams and project managers using site measurements and collected project data • Recommend and specify equipment and hardware from manufacturers we represent • Assist with technical submittals and project documentation • Support ongoing engineering and operational improvement initiatives

• Create accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks • Produce fabrication-ready shop drawings, assemblies, and BOMs for architectural metalwork projects • Translate architectural and engineering drawings into practical fabrication details • Design and detail components using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium • Apply practical fabrication knowledge to cutting, folding, welding, assembly, and installation requirements • Identify and resolve design clashes, dimensional issues, and constructability risks before production • Coordinate closely with project managers, fabrication teams, and site teams to ensure technical accuracy and buildability • Maintain organised and accurate project documentation • Support projects during fabrication and installation, assisting with issue resolution when required • Contribute to internal design reviews and QA processes

Role Description We are seeking a Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer with strong SolidWorks and fabrication detailing experience to produce accurate, buildable engineering and shop drawing outputs for architectural metalwork projects. This role involves translating architectural and concept drawings into practical fabrication-ready designs suitable for workshop manufacturing and site installation. The position requires practical engineering judgement, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. The successful candidate will work closely with design, engineering, project management, and fabrication teams to ensure all outputs are technically accurate, practical to manufacture, and aligned with project requirements.
