Role Description The US Hematology Thought Leader Engagement Lead (TLEL) will play a critical role on the growing US Hematology team by developing and executing an overarching Thought Leader engagement plan for key national and regional thought leaders in the field of Hematology. This leader will create a first-class experience for external stakeholders in Hematology, coordinating relationships end-to-end (research to end-of-lifecycle) and working as part of a broader cross-functional Pfizer team. - Engage Hematology Thought Leaders via 1:1 engagements at major congresses and national/regional product theaters. - Identify mutual points of interest between the TL and Pfizer Oncology Commercial. - Gather insights on Hematology Thought Leader beliefs and preferences to inform development and execution of HCP commercial strategies/tactics. - Nominate TLs for Ad Boards, Speaker Programs, or other programming as requested by marketing teams. - Collaborate effectively with the HEME Global Thought Leader Strategy Lead. - Advance the capabilities of the Hematology franchise in the US. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree minimum required. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, medical affairs, strategy, new product launch, customer engagement, or business development in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries. - Experience in customer engagement within Hematology highly preferred. - Experience in the design, development, and execution of opinion leader engagement programs. - Demonstrated success in influence/negotiation. - Proven ability to build and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with key external and internal stakeholders. - Strong organizational and analytical skills. - Track record of working well across internal and external stakeholders. - Experience presenting to senior leadership. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Requirements - Develop, in partnership with key functions within the commercial team, a ONE Pfizer approach that fully integrates Opinion Leader and key stakeholder engagement plans. - Drive a ONE Pfizer, fully integrated approach to engaging HCPs, opinion leaders, and researchers. - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Medical, Key Account Teams, Policy, Patient Affairs, Communications). - Gather and synthesize insights from various engagements to inform portfolio strategy and decision-making. - Translate stakeholder insights into actionable recommendations. - Develop and maintain comprehensive Opinion Leader and key stakeholder engagement plans. - Facilitate connections between opinion leaders and internal subject matter experts. - Coordinate and support execution of speaking engagements. - Design, implement, and manage engagement metrics. - Ensure all engagement activities adhere to Pfizer legal, compliance, and regulatory standards. - Conduct local market ecosystem assessments. - Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop localized action plans. - Support planning and execution of engagement strategies for key congresses. - Share insights, best practices, and learnings across teams. - Maintain deep knowledge of hematology therapeutic areas. - Support the development and maintenance of operating procedures.
