Role Description This is a remote role, but you are welcome to join us in our Munich office. • Collaborating with leaders and stakeholders across the company to understand the business, product and system requirements • Thoroughly test software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects utilizing knowledge of application architecture • Maintain documentation of test results, assist in debugging and communicate to business stakeholders • Utilize necessary analytical skills to develop and maintain knowledge of in-house/vendor systems, formulas, rate specifications, manual rules, and state filing information • Maintain a test repository and/or performance test results; identify and resolve problems in areas of test development/management; devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations • Provide detailed, insightful, constructive, and actionable feedback based on testing outcomes; produce reporting and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging and tracking • Create visibility and deepen collaboration during development to ensure more reliable releases • Enhance tools, processes, and frameworks to bring insurance products to market

• Own quality hands-on: test new features yourself across mobile (iOS/Android), backend services, and back-office tools. You're not only defining strategy — you're shipping it. • Test complex crypto and fintech logic, including high-stakes flows: transactions, swaps, asset custody, KYC, and on/off-ramps. • Drive QA-developer collaboration on automated testing: write detailed test cases, review and accept the developer's implementation, and integrate the resulting test suite into your daily QA work. Quality is owned across the team, not gated by you. • Establish QA standards and metrics, including test case templates, checklists, bug-reporting standards, defect rate, escape rate, CFR/LT, and reporting that supports decision-making. • Lead production stability efforts: monitor Sentry, Firebase, Grafana; drive incident response; run post-mortems; surface root causes. • Mentor the Middle QA engineer through hands-on collaboration and shared work, not through formal reviews. • Influence product quality in conversations with the Team Lead, developers, product, and design — through technical argument and evidence, not hierarchy.

• Define and maintain a comprehensive framework of best-in-class recruitment practices covering sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding • Benchmark against industry leaders in talent acquisition across financial services and technology sectors • Stay current on emerging recruitment methodologies, assessment tools, and AI-driven sourcing and screening technologies • Conduct ongoing audits of recruitment processes, candidate experience, hiring manager engagement, and TA team performance • Evaluate ATS utilisation, sourcing channel effectiveness, interview quality, and hiring decision consistency • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and gaps in the hiring funnel • Establish and track TA KPIs: time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness, candidate experience, offer acceptance rate, and others • Deliver candid, data-driven assessments of TA operations to leadership with actionable recommendations • Drive measurable improvements — this role is judged on what changes, not the reports
