Job Duties: - Leverages new and emerging security technologies to solve key technical challenges. - Will be responsible for building deep relationships with clients, assisting with architectural integration design. - Effectively develops and delivers technical solutions and supports clients throughout the relationship lifecycle. - Responsible for leading client engagements as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to solve customer problems and translate customer requirements into deliverable services while gathering technical requirements and facilitating sessions for building solutions for relevant networking technologies. - Executes comprehensive infrastructure solutions that support business needs and objectives in complex environments for our clients. - Creates technical roadmaps, project plans, requirements, designs, and implementation plans in various security architecture and engineering solutions to help our organization operate more efficiently. - Participates in business requirement gathering sessions, gathering user data requirements, understanding the user requirements, and assisting in the reconciliation of technical and business needs as they relate to security. - Uses a variety of techniques to conduct tests and analyze information. - Supports prospects through RFP/RFI lifecycles, including assisting with defining requirements and facilitating responses. - Supports prospects through POC lifecycles, including defining Test Plans and Success Criteria. - Communicates Trace3's value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients, including executive “C'' level management, VP, and Director levels, and end-users. - Position is for roving employee who will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. according to business need. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field plus 9 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst, System Engineer, Server Administrator, System Administrator, or closely related role. - 8 years of experience working with VMware with a demonstrated history of designing and maintaining virtual switching environments for consulting or technology companies. - Experience with security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion prevention, data leak prevention, data protection, endpoint protection, and their integrations. - Experience with adjacent technology areas, including Cloud, Data Intelligence, and IoT. - Experience designing technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies. - Experience working independently, while managing multiple and changing priorities, and meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment. - Experience approaching customer and sales requests in a proactive and consultative manner. - Experience listening to and understanding user requests and needs and effectively delivering. - Experience communicating effectively with clients at all levels. - Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Nutanix solutions. - Experience with Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure. - Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. - Experience with networking concepts, storage, and server technologies. - Weekly travel to local client office. Less than 10% domestic travel to other client sites locations throughout the country. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
