Role Description This role will join our Finance and Accounting Team remotely and will be responsible for leading a multinational consolidated close, audit, technical accounting, revenue, treasury and reporting functions. You will provide technical accounting guidance and interpretations to the finance organization and other constituents. You will be critical in supporting Cendyn’s strategic growth with the direction of our SLT team and Private Equity partners. You will ensure detailed analysis is completed relating to complex transactions, accounting policy and related systems implementations. Additionally, you will assist in developing an internal control structure. Responsibilities - Drive strategic projects, support aggressive growth and manage an excellent open communication line with our Private Equity investors. - Manage an efficient timely and accurate global close, recommend changes, complete all necessary reconciliations and work with IS to evolve ERP solution. - Maintain common chart of accounts for all reporting locations. - Review access control requests to ensure compliance with segregation of duties controls. - Supervise the Company's global accounting policies, particularly complex and non-routine issues, to ensure ongoing compliance with US GAAP and IFRS where applicable. - Monitor, oversee and implement new and evolving accounting standards under US GAAP, and IFRS. - Advise and/or prepare technical memos and analysis to support accounting treatment and other finance implications for complex areas such as business combinations, consolidations, revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, debt and equity transactions, among others. - Lead and execute drafting of financial statements and accompanying footnotes and assist with SEC or other statutory financial statement filings. - Provide guidance and technical training with the accounting team on best practices and audit efficiency. - Oversee accounting for Company’s debt instruments including term loans, swap/hedges, etc. - Provide guidance as reviewer to treasury accountant monthly close tasks, technical accounting guidance and interpretations for debt (i.e., modifications, new swaps), and participating in cash management strategy as needed. - Manage and coordinate the Company’s external/internal audits (and any quarterly or other interim reviews) for the consolidated company, and several foreign subsidiaries. - Assist with special projects, process improvements and due diligence process for acquisitions. - Advise and implement internal controls related to the reporting process in support of external auditors’ assessment of excellence. - Represent accounting and finance for all M&A activity including integrations of financials and related systems, supporting a continues scalable and nimble financial process. - Manage and coordinate third party consultants used for valuations, swaps, etc. - Assist with cross training all Finance personnel on technical accounting topics relevant to the Company. Qualifications - 15 years of experience required; the ideal candidate must have CPA, public accounting and software or technology industry experience. - Minimum of 3 years in public accounting with advancement to Senior level at a Big Four or international firm. - A minimum of 3 years in industry is preferred with advancement to Manager or equivalent level required. - Proven ability to manage a team of multiple individuals with varying experience levels required. - Bachelor's degree and CPA Certification required. - Comprehensive and current understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly revenue recognition, business combinations and stock-based compensation. Knowledge of IFRS required. - Individuals must have ASC 606 skill sets and be extremely comfortable advising through technical transactions. - Proven ability to interpret and apply accounting guidance and prepare formal, well-supported, accounting position papers and supporting analyses. - Strong strategic, presentation, project management and communication skills. - Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, business group leaders and senior management. - Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills. Knowledge of Net Suite is not required but is a plus. - Proficient with ERP systems, preferably Netsuite. - Ability and readiness to embrace and successfully drive/implement change. - Process optimization focused - vision with the ability to apply practical solutions and navigate through ambiguity. - High-level of integrity along with the ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality. - Team player: comfortable operating within a dynamic, complex organizational structure and able to be flexible and collaborate with team on different projects and needs. - Hard working, detail oriented and ability to motivate teams. Position Type This is a full-time position. Working Conditions - Flexible hours are expected during the final two weeks of each fiscal quarter to support the sales team. - Up to 10% travel required, including occasional overnight travel to customer sites, industry conferences, or internal company meetings.
