Qualifications - 15+ years of experience leading digital creative direction at scale—within product-led companies, agencies, or global brands. - A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, systems thinking, and strategic storytelling across complex digital ecosystems. - Deep fluency in modern web design, UX principles, modular systems, and digital platforms. - Experience partnering across cross-functional teams in matrixed environments. - Strong executive presence with the ability to clearly articulate and advocate for creative direction. - A sharp eye for detail and an uncompromising bar for quality. - Curiosity about emerging technologies, AI-driven behaviors, and evolving digital platforms. Role Description ICF seeks a Director, Education to work within our Child Welfare and Education Line of Business. This Line of Business provides federal, state, and other clients with a wide range of technical assistance, research, and evaluation services. Our work focuses on important education policy issues; uses proven and innovative methods for delivering high-quality, timely technical assistance; seeks to inform education stakeholders of promising practices; and involves working closely with clients to ensure that training and technical assistance support services are relevant, useful, and make a positive impact. The Director, Education will work with clients such as the U.S. Department of Education as well as state and local educational agencies in (DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA) to provide support. Must live in one of the following states, DC, DE, NJ or PA. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain strong, collegial relationships with state education agencies (SEAs) and other clients to provide high-quality, relevant, and useful capacity-building technical assistance. - Conduct needs assessments, develop and deliver technical assistance that clearly addresses client needs, monitor and course correct technical assistance as needed, coordinate with project evaluators to curate evidence, and liaise with clients. - Lead and coordinate TA teams to ensure the provision of high-quality services to clients. This role combines product management and partnerships, with ownership of both the ICP product and the partner program that supports it. ICP is also a key lever for strengthening customer retention by making MAP Growth more embedded in districts’ instructional ecosystems through high-value integrations. As ICP evolves, the Director will lead a more focused and higher-impact approach to partnerships, strengthening existing relationships while advancing an open ecosystem strategy that supports integration across a wide range of partner solutions.
