Environmental Operations Support Manager
WM
• Serves as support person for Sustainability Services Territory or Vertical. • Implementation of new contracts, assisting with special projects and staffing existing contracts as needed. • Assist Business Development and Territory/Vertical Managers with site walks, proposal development and contract renewals. • Significant travel is required (90%+). • Coordinate logistics for transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste from client site including profiling, scheduling, manifesting and physically loading bulk and drum loads. • Consult with client and prospective clients to identify, design and implement cost saving opportunities and proposals. • Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by performing necessary inspections and reporting. Resolve all issues in a timely manner. • Administer client and vendor financial obligations including invoicing, reporting and contracts. • Promote culture of safety by ensuring site personnel are properly trained to perform assigned duties and comply with safety, environmental, federal, state and local regulations.
Job Requirements
- Must live & work in the U.S.
- Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Accounting, Business or related field, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Seven (7) years of relevant experience (in addition to education requirement).
- RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance experience required.
- OSHA 24-Hour HAZWOPER Certification required.
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to pass a respirator FIT test
- Ability to obtain a medical card and CDL within 90 days is required (WM provided).

Role Description The Estimator II prepares timely and accurate bid estimates for medium to large sized projects/programs within an assigned line of business, Region or Division and helps plan all projects with expectations for the efficient use of personnel, equipment, materials and subcontractors within contract requirements, time guidelines and other restrictions. The Estimator II will fully understand the major business components and implications specific to estimating and cost control for Construction Companies while ensuring compliance with the Henkels & McCoy established Project Management Methodology and upholding H&M safety and quality management protocols. Responsibilities - Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed cost estimates and bid documentation for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and substation projects supporting BPA Master Service Agreement (MSA) scopes. - Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and customer requirements to develop accurate and competitive project estimates. - Travel to project sites to evaluate existing conditions, validate constructability, and support estimate accuracy. - Lead bid strategy discussions and support proposal development, pricing reviews, and customer presentations. - Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and field operations teams during estimate development and project execution. - Monitor awarded contracts for scope changes, extra work authorizations, material impacts, credits, and other cost-related items. - Assist field personnel in identifying, developing, and recommending change orders and scope modifications as needed. - Ensure all bid submissions, customer deliverables, and presentation requirements are completed accurately and within established deadlines. - Identify potential construction risks, schedule impacts, and operational challenges, while recommending cost-effective solutions to minimize risk and improve project execution. - Support procurement planning by coordinating material pricing, vendor quotations, and subcontractor scopes. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating methodologies, tools, processes, and reporting aligned with H&M Project Management practices. - Interface with internal and external stakeholders regarding planning, scheduling, reporting requirements, progress updates, and project coordination activities. - Prepare and present estimate summaries, project assumptions, risk assessments, and pricing recommendations to leadership and clients. - Maintain effective communication with clients, project teams, and leadership while demonstrating professionalism and influencing project outcomes through collaboration and technical expertise. • Triage and resolve T&S escalations coming through internal channels, including suspension/reinstatement requests, CX escalations, host/user reports, and other abuse-related inquiries. • Conduct daily enforcement operations, including account suspension, reinstatement review, bulk suspension workflows, and coordination with Engineering when tooling gaps require manual support. • Review and investigate abuse reports from hosts, customers, support tickets, enforcement actions, and internal QA signals to determine whether additional action or deeper investigation is needed. • Monitor risk and abuse signals across internal telemetry, detection outputs, undeliverable activity, product usage patterns, and investigation queues to identify trends, anomalies, and emerging abuse tactics. • Perform in-depth investigations into suspicious behavior, distinguishing between legitimate outlier activity and true spam/abuse patterns using account history, velocity signals, behavioral context, and product interaction data. • Develop and maintain playbook rules that standardize workflows, decision-making, and response protocols across customer interactions. • Partner with Product and Engineering to identify weak points in detection, tooling, workflows, and enforcement controls, and translate operational findings into requirements, prioritization inputs, or mitigation recommendations. • Maintain review cadences and operational reporting, including weekly investigation reviews, abuse trend summaries, SLA/volume tracking, and recommendations for improving T&S coverage, quality, and responsiveness.
