Role Description As a Supervisor Accounts Payable, you play a critical role in safeguarding Dexcom’s financial integrity. This role goes beyond processing transactions—you are a trusted expert ensuring payments are accurate, compliant, and continuously improving in a high-performing AP organization. - Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department. - Supervise, train, and evaluate AP staff. - Manage workflows and prioritize daily workloads. - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payments. - Handle exceptions and maintain strong supplier relationships. - Oversee end-to-end invoice handling and payment processing. - Review invoices and expense transactions, applying heightened scrutiny to high-value and high-risk items. - Validate documentation, approvals, and policy compliance before payment release. - Oversee the processing of payments through host-to-host connections and online banking platforms. - Prepare and analyze Accounts Payable agings, reports, and other payment-related reporting. - Support statutory and SOX audits by maintaining complete documentation and adhering to internal controls. - Act as a subject matter expert, handling moderate to complex AP and payment-related inquiries. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce errors and increase efficiency. - Coordinate and participate in inter- and intra-department meetings. - Be a key member in the implementation of department projects, including testing of system changes. - Support month-end close by preparing journal entries for and accruals. - Perform additional assignments as directed by the Manager. Qualifications - Hands-on experience across Accounts Payable functions, including invoice processing and payments. - Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle EBS, Coupa, or Basware. - Understanding of core accounting concepts related to payables and payment processing. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills. - Strong written and verbal English communication skills. - Solid knowledge of SOX and financial control requirements. - High level of attention to detail, sound judgment, and ownership. - Experience developing and maintaining strong working relationships across the company. - Excellent organization and reliability to meet deadlines. - Ability to manage time and deliverables for diverse projects. - Independent discretion on matters of significance. - Positive “can do” attitude to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
