• Serve as the IBMi Security Subject Matter Expert supporting Gaming Control Boards across all jurisdictions, external auditors, and internal audit teams. • Lead IBMi-related audit activities including SOX, PCI, and Gaming, ensuring timely remediation of findings across IT and property teams. • Design, implement, and manage IBMi security policies, standards, and procedures. • Support installation, configuration, upgrade, and administration of IBMi security tools and applications. • Monitor privileged access and investigate anomalous activity to mitigate security risks. • Apply the cybersecurity risk management framework to IBMi activities including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews. • Act as the IBMi security SME during incident response investigations • Develop and maintain IBMi security metrics and dashboards to support SOC and leadership reporting. • Analyze trends to identify systemic risks and improvement opportunities. • Partner with IT, property teams, and business stakeholders to align security solutions with business needs. • Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to junior security staff and non-security teams. • Contribute to cybersecurity and enterprise IT projects, including project planning and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older (required for regulated gaming environments)
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to pass background checks, obtain and maintain gaming licenses in required jurisdictions.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Hands-on experience with IBM i (OS 7.2 and higher) in 24x7 production environments
- 10+ years of experience administering IBMi platforms
- 5+ years of experience installing, maintaining, and supporting IBMi security applications
- Proven experience identifying and remediating IBMi security vulnerabilities
- Working knowledge of PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, and/or Gaming Regulatory requirements
- General understanding of the Integrated File System (IFS) and its security implications
- Working knowledge of IBM Access Client Solutions (ACS) and IBM i Client Access
- Experience with Fortra PowerTech security suite preferred
- Experience with Trinity Guard TGSecure security tool preferred
- Experience with IBM QRader or similar SIEM service preferred
