Role Description Shields Health Solutions is looking to add a Business Development Associate to supplement its growing business development team. This will be a very hands-on and analytical role, touching every aspect of the business development process with high visibility to the Shields Executive Leadership Team and C-level executives at our hospital partners. We are looking for a self-starter and highly motivated individual to own work products from start to finish and make an immediate impact on the team. It is preferred that the candidate live in EST/CST time zones. - Lead and own the creation of detailed analyses, financial models, and pitch materials for new health system partners and new business opportunities. - Work closely with sales and clinical leaders to develop a partnership strategy based on health system needs and financial data. - Serve as part of the client-facing deal team, presenting financial and strategic analyses to health system leadership. - Support the execution of new business and strategic initiatives for senior leadership. - Perform comprehensive and in-depth competitor, new business, and industry research. - Organize and prioritize critical issues and required information for the leadership team to facilitate efficient decision making. - Work with cross-functional teams to support new partnerships and provide client-oriented solutions. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. - 2-3 years of experience working in an analytically intensive field (investment banking, management consulting, corporate development) or business development operations experience at another high growth company. - Entrepreneurial attitude - willingness to roll up their sleeves and work alongside staff to make things happen quickly. - Self-starter who is able to work independently with limited oversight from managers. - Highly motivated and results-driven professional who thrives in a team-oriented environment. - Analytically oriented person who makes and defends decisions based on hard data. - Experience and interest in presenting to C-level executives. - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including financial modeling and data visualization. - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. - Healthcare experience or passion for the industry is a plus. - Professionals will likely travel 25% of their time, meeting with partners. Role Description KDA Inc. seeks an experienced Director of Business Development to support growth in our Professional Services business in the US. This candidate will be the primary interface for KONGSBERG US for all Field Service Engineering, Training, and Support Service business in support of KONGSBERG OEM platforms and systems for US and FMS markets. - Lead, develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to maximize efficient growth and profitability within the US. - Maintain strong relationships with all current and prospective US customers. - Coordinate Quarterly Update / Status meetings with existing customers. - Manage relationship between KONGSBERG US, KONGSBERG AS and applicable Training Commands. - Participate in / facilitate relevant customer / capability Program Management Reviews. - Grow a strong base of relationships within the Service maintenance, sustainment, and training customer base. - Engage with PAEs, Program Managers, TACOM, operational commands, and sustainment organizations. - Manage and support customer demonstrations, operational evaluations, capability briefings and Trade Show participation. - Coordinate capture activities, proposal development, and strategic teaming efforts. - Support international capture efforts through actions such as briefing Foreign Embassy staff. - Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and contract acquisitions. - Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies. - Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. - Drive sales initiatives and revenue growth. - Develop and maintain a robust pipeline to meet/exceed assigned revenue targets. - Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. - Participate in full opportunity lifecycle process. - Work as part of the KDA Inc.
