• Administration and further development of the cloud infrastructure based on AWS. • Management and monitoring of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Route53, ELB, Lambda and IAM. • Operation, maintenance and optimization of Windows, Linux and hybrid system landscapes. • Support for internal users at 1st- and 2nd-level support. • Setup and management of user accounts, roles and permissions (Active Directory / Entra ID / IAM). • Monitoring of network components, VPNs, firewalls and security policies. • Planning and implementation of backup, recovery and disaster recovery concepts. • Support for infrastructure projects and automation using Terraform and Docker. • Monitoring systems to ensure performance, stability and availability. • Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge bases. • Participation in IT security, compliance and cloud optimization initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Completed vocational training or degree in computer science, system integration, IT administration or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience administering cloud and IT infrastructures.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC and CloudWatch.
- Experience working with Windows and Linux servers.
- Good knowledge of networking and security topics (VPN, DNS, firewalls, routing).
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Entra ID is an advantage.
- Knowledge of automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform) is desirable.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD or container technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of monitoring, backup and recovery concepts.
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style.
- Strong service orientation as well as team and communication skills.
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- AWS certifications are a plus but not required.
