Oracle Database Administrator
Kyndryl
• Design, deploy, and administer Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c) across development, test, and production environments. • Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning to ensure database reliability and scalability. • Implement and manage Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters), ASM (Automatic Storage Management), Data Guard, GoldenGate, and Exadata / ExaCC platforms. • Develop and maintain backup, recovery, migration, and upgrade strategies for on-premises and cloud platforms. • Administer and optimize AWS RDS/Aurora for Oracle instances; support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. • Create automation scripts using Shell, Python, and PL/SQL to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency. • Work closely with infrastructure, application, and security teams to deliver reliable database solutions. • Produce high-quality solution designs, architecture documentation, and operational procedures for large-scale Oracle environments. • Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement of database services.
Job Requirements
- A minimum 12+ years of experience in managing complex databases
- Expert in Oracle Database Administration & Architecture (11g/12c/19c)
- Performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning
- Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exacc
- AWS RDS/Aurora for Oracle, backup and migration strategies
- Scripting (Shell, Python, PL/SQL) for automation
- Solution design and implementation for large-scale Oracle environments
- Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud
