Job Description

Field Service Technician – Installation & Repair – Windows and Doors

• Perform basic field repairs, including hardware and glass replacements, operational adjustments, and product inspections. • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess product performance and identify repair needs. • Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of glass, working at heights, and use of PPE; maintain and inspect safety equipment and first aid kits. • Operate company vehicles safely, adhering to local laws, and perform routine maintenance to ensure reliability. • Manage tools and supplies inventory to maintain proper stock and organization. • Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair issues and solutions, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. • Travel within assigned territory daily; overnight travel may be required depending on territory.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to successfully clear an MVR check
  • 1–2 years of general construction or building material installation experience preferred
  • 1–2 years of fenestration manufacturing or installation experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook & CRM)
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD ENUMERATOR In this Field / Phone Enumerator position, you play a crucial role in serving our agricultural producers by providing reliable, accurate, and objective statistics and information that farmers, ranchers, and rural communities depend on. You actively interview farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses either in person or on the phone. At times, you travel to designated fields in order to perform crop counts.
