Title: Business Data Analyst Location: Parramatta Australia Job Description: - Permanent, full-time position for 38 hours per week - Based out of Parramatta offering hybrid working options - EA Level 13 - $140,108.04 base salary plus superannuation! About the Role Reporting to the Manager of System Improvement & Support this role will sit within our Business Connect shared services function. As a Senior Business Data Analyst, you will be responsible to drive data collection, application utilisation, analysis, and insights, while ensuring the efficient monitoring of key business operational KPIs. This role will play a crucial part in providing actionable business insights, leading data analytics growth across multiple business units, and fostering improvements in operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities - Business Insights & Operational Metrics: Provide valuable insights into business operations through the analysis of key performance metrics and data trends. - Data Analytics Leadership: Lead the growth and development of data analytics capabilities within the organisation, working across multiple business units to drive data-driven decision-making. - Operational Efficiency Improvement: Champion the identification and implementation of strategies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across departments. - Governance & Framework: Take charge of business governance, leading framework working groups to ensure the integrity, consistency, and standardisation of processes. - Coaching & Development: Provide ongoing support and mentorship to Business Analysts, helping to develop their skills and capabilities within the organisation. Skills & Experience: - Proven experience in business analysis, data analytics, or operational management roles. - Strong ability to analyse, interpret, and translate data into meaningful business insights. - Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams or working groups. - Knowledge of business governance and frameworks. - Excellent communication and leadership skills to support, coach, and develop team members. - Proficiency in business intelligence tools and data analysis applications. - Ability to drive improvements and implement strategies to optimise business operations.
