Senior Manager of Customer Solution

Role Description As a Senior Manager of Customer Solution, you will: - Solution Design & Technical Support - Directly engage with customers to deliver the most professional technical output. - Customer requirement translation: Communicate in depth with customers to accurately analyze their specific technical requirements across different application scenarios (e.g., residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), utility-scale ground power plants, microgrids, etc.). - Solution development & consulting: Design integrated system solutions covering PV modules, inverters, battery management systems (BMS), energy management systems (EMS), etc. Assist customers in performing revenue forecasting and economic analysis. - Bidding support: Lead or assist in drafting bilingual (Chinese-English) technical bid documents, feasibility study reports, and other technical documents; participate in bid submissions, technical clarifications, and contract negotiations. - Key project implementation guarantee: Ensure smooth progress through full-cycle coordination from early-stage opportunity assessment and site surveys to mid-stage solution finalization and technical agreement signing, and later-stage delivery support. - Target Market Insight & Product Strategy Development - Market research: Continuously track and analyze policies on PV and energy storage, power market trading rules, and industry trends in overseas target markets. - Competitive analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of competitors’ strategies, products, and pricing to provide a basis for the company to develop differentiated competitive strategies. - Product planning: Provide feedback on collected customer needs and market dynamics to the product line, and participate in formulating product roadmaps to ensure solutions align with real market needs. - Product improvement: Organize regional and headquarters product line teams to clarify requirements and discuss corresponding technical solutions for unmet customer/market needs. - New product launch: Provide technical support for new product launches to ensure smooth initial deployment, including system solution design, organizing customer training, guiding equipment installation and commissioning, and collecting field information and customer feedback. - Business Development & Marketing Support - Sales synergy & channel expansion: Collaborate with the regional sales team to explore markets, responsible for technical customer communication and relationship maintenance. - Brand building: Represent the company at overseas energy exhibitions, forums, etc., to promote products and solutions, enhancing the company’s international brand influence. - Dotted-line Functional Team Management - Manage local pre-sales technical support engineers under a dotted-line structure; participate in formulating performance contracts and assessing performance indicators. - Organize regional pre-sales technical requirements meetings to collect requirements, discuss solutions, apply for CRs, and track requirement implementation. - Cross-departmental Collaboration & Team Knowledge Empowerment - Knowledge transfer: Organize local pre-sales engineers to provide regular product and technical training to internal sales teams and external channel partners. - Internal collaboration: Serve as a key communication bridge between technology, marketing, R&D, service, and other departments to ensure information synchronization and smooth resource allocation. Qualifications - Must be proficient in the architectural design of PV and energy storage systems. - Deep understanding of core components such as batteries, PCS, BMS, EMS, etc. - Skilled in using design and simulation software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, etc. - Strong communication and coordination skills, team spirit, and a service-oriented mindset. - Good documentation editing skills and presentation ability required for training and speeches. - Excellent execution ability, stress tolerance, and capability to handle complex matters. - Ability to adapt to overseas business trips (mainly in Europe) of varying durations several times per year. Requirements - Education: A bachelor's degree or above in a science or engineering field such as electrical engineering, power electronics, automation, new energy, etc. - Language: Fully proficient in Chinese; English must be usable as a working language, with fluency in technical communication and business negotiations; proficiency in a local language is a plus. - Experience: More than 6 years of experience in solution design, system integration, or pre-sales technical roles in the PV and energy storage industry. - Other: Proficient in using common software: PV system simulation tools such as PVsyst, PVsol, Helioscope, etc., AutoCAD for electrical layout, and Excel for modeling. Knowledge - Familiar with the hardware and software working principles of inverters and PCS. - Familiar with the architecture, wiring principles, and system design principles of PV systems. - Familiar with battery, BMS, EMS, as well as fire protection and thermal management technologies for energy storage systems. - Familiar with system integration technologies such as PV-storage-diesel hybrid systems, micro-grid control strategies, and off-grid and on-grid switching logic. - Familiar with grid connection policies, subsidy mechanisms, grid codes, and certification requirements in the European market. - Understand the business models of typical energy storage system application scenarios and local power market trading rules.
