Investment Analyst – Crypto, AI

• Research and identify emerging trends, technologies, and investment opportunities across AI, crypto, energy, infrastructure, robotics, and adjacent markets. • Source and evaluate new investment opportunities, including founder meetings, market analysis, and investment diligence. • Support investment decision-making through research, competitive analysis, and internal investment memos. • Contribute to portfolio management and ongoing monitoring of existing investments. • Write research pieces and market commentary related to frontier technologies and crypto trends. • Participate in industry events, conferences, and community initiatives to help expand the firm’s network and market presence. • Collaborate closely with the broader investment team on strategy, research initiatives, and sourcing efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Experience investing in, researching, building, or operating within AI, crypto, blockchain, energy, robotics, infrastructure, or other frontier technology sectors.
  • Strong analytical, research, and written communication skills.
  • Passion for startups, emerging technologies, and venture investing.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote and fast-paced environment.
  • High degree of curiosity, ownership, and initiative.
  • Existing network or involvement within crypto, AI, or startup communities is highly valued.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for meetings, conferences, and events as needed.

Role Description The campaign seeks an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Senior Director of Finance, working under the Chief Financial Officer. This role involves the oversight of all financial systems and policies, including budget, accounting, compliance, financial risk identification and resilience planning, and communications with staff on the rollout of relevant policies and procedures.
