Director, Clinical Operations

AMSURG

• Responsible for Clinical Operations activities in assigned ASCs within a geographic region. • Acts as consultant/clinical quality subject matter. • Executes AMSURG clinical strategy/best practices. • Implements and monitors all Clinical Quality plans within center. • Manages review and approval of corporate and clinical policies and procedures. • Responds to physician partners and all provider concerns. • Participates in centers’ business planning processes. • Communicates with center leadership, physicians, and operations. • Conducts analysis of clinical staffing, supply, and drug costs. • Provides support to Center Administrators in the development of all Center Action Plans.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • RN or APRN with 5+ years of progressive experience in perioperative management
  • Previous ASC/outpatient surgery management experience strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to bring exceptional business acumen as well as creativity to the operations and management of healthcare facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to function as a strong member of a highly motivated and integrated management team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.

Role Description The Clinical Program Advisor focuses on providing expert consultation on rebate contracts and formulary strategies for complex custom clients, including data analysis, scenario modeling, and financial impact assessments.
