APEX Application Developer

Accenture Federal Services

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and user-friendly applications on the Oracle APEX platform. • Balance declarative APEX features with custom coding, when necessary, mentor junior developers. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience developing applications with Oracle APEX.
  • Strong PL/SQL programming skills with experience writing complex packages, triggers, and procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL query optimization and database performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) to extend APEX applications.
  • Experience integrating APEX with REST/SOAP APIs and other enterprise systems.
  • Strong understanding of application security within Oracle APEX.

You will be working on cross-cutting problems that will require strong cross-team collaboration, both technically and functionally to develop and deliver business critical infrastructure. You will: - Help build and evolve one or more mission-critical tools and systems. - Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop systems and processes as business needs grow and evolve. - Solve hard, real-world problems such as fleet optimization, field escalation handling, workshop management, efficient mileage gathering, and more.
