Credit Analyst

Role Description Analyze, evaluate, document and monitor credit risk of proposed and existing customers. - Obtains loan request information from loan officer to analyze credit information, financial statements and other related information pertaining to a new loan and prepares the preliminary analysis for the loan officer. - Reviews personal and business financial statements and tax returns to assess the global financial position of the borrower. - Prepare written analysis, spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions on new and existing customers. - Prepares and presents loan reviews on existing relationships to evaluate liquidity, capacity and potential risk. - Assist loan officers with obtaining financial information from customers upon request. - Consults with management to assist in risk management and strategic planning. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field and/or equivalent combination of coursework and work experience. - Knowledge of financial statement data and statistical analysis. - Attention to detail, accuracy and follow-through. - Strong computer skills including Excel and Word. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize. - Strong financial, analytical and critical thinking skills.

Role Description Wirecutter is seeking a detail-oriented, diligent, and analytical individual to assist our Deals Team.
