QA Engineer – SaaS Platform
The Hello Team
• Test new features and bug fixes across Employee, Client, and Admin portals before release • Perform full regression testing before deployments • Create detailed bug reports in Asana, including reproduction steps, severity, environment details, and supporting evidence • Validate bug fixes before closing tickets • Proactively test edge cases across devices, user roles, and environments • Conduct daily check-ins with the development team to track progress and resolve blockers • Maintain a log of known issues and provide weekly status updates to the CEO • Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure proper testing coverage • Own the end-to-end QA process and ensure platform quality before release
Job Requirements
- Proficient level of English (written and spoken)
- 4+ years of QA experience in SaaS or web applications
- Strong bug documentation and reporting skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
- Experience working in business-critical SaaS environments
- Experience writing bug reports in Asana, Jira, Linear, or similar tools
- Experience testing platforms with multiple user roles
- Ability to work independently and manage the QA cycle
- Experience working with offshore development teams
- Comfortable on live video calls with US-based stakeholders
- Experience in HR tech, payroll, workforce management, or staffing software, strongly preferred
- Positive attitude and the ability to learn and adapt quickly
