• This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping organizations transform their ways of working to an agile state and who wants to help other teams implement an agile mindset and culture. • You will learn about your client's products, processes, and tools, and help identify areas for improvement that enable them to meet their goals. • Leveraging your expertise, you will help guide your clients toward good agile and SAFe practices and recommend processes and tools to support their journey. • As a Product Coach at Packaged Agile, you'll be responsible for helping your client understand how to build and lead a product culture that focuses on creating valuable and viable solutions. • Solve complex problems using sound logic and compelling narratives. • Advise on agile, SAFe, and Scrum @ Scale strategies to implement across the organization. • Build trust and collaborative relationships among all stakeholders across the ART. • Mentor Scrum Masters, leadership, PO/PMs, and other ART team members on agile and SAFe best practices. • Facilitate the identification of objectives and key results (OKRs) that are product-team specific, but roll up to organizational goals. • Coach clients on agile principles and processes and on building compelling Product Vision and Product Strategy descriptions and how to orient Product Roadmaps around the delivery of customer value as opposed to output. • Partner with teams and stakeholders to help improve their agile practices. • Identify practical ways to keep team members engaged and motivated in a remote environment. • Escalate impediments and risks, and clearly explain their impact in plain language.
Job Requirements
- US Citizenship or Green Card status with the ability to pass a Public Trust clearance process with a US Government client
- At least three years of experience as an Agile Coach
- Experience leading agile transformations
- Effective coach - excellent communicator, exudes patience and loves to teach others
- Understanding of software development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban
- Excellent facilitation skills, experience leading training, backlog development and refinement sessions, and problem-solving workshops
- Experience with all facets of the product management life cycle
- Certifications: SPC 5.0
- Strongly preferred: RTE and Scrum Master certifications
- Strongly preferred: lives in a US SBA HUBZone
- Strongly preferred: Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Automation
- Passionate about product management and continuous learning
- Ability to maintain composure in the face of challenges
- Propose logical approaches to address issues
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
