Job Description

VP of Product, Consumer Subscription Apps

Nysonian Inc.

Role Description Nysonian is hiring a VP of Product to own the app product function across the portfolio, starting with NOBL and Flo Pilates. You will own the product vision, roadmap, subscription model, paywall, activation, retention, and experimentation across both apps. This is not a normal roadmap role. The mandate is to build products that drive measurable business outcomes: subscription conversion, retention, churn, ARPU, LTV, and engagement. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, Retention, and Creative, and report directly to the CEO. You will not be inheriting a mature product machine. You will help build the product function, operating cadence, experimentation system, and team from the ground up. What You'll Own - The product vision and roadmap across NOBL and Flo Pilates - The product operating system: sprint discipline, prioritization, KPI definition, release standards, and post-launch measurement - Subscription performance across paywall, pricing, packaging, trial flows, upgrades, win-back, and retention - Product discovery, prioritization, execution, launch, and iteration across major app initiatives - An experimentation-first product culture using data, customer feedback, and rapid iteration - Translation of the consumer app, subscription, hardware, and AI landscape into practical product advantages - Building and leading a world-class product organization over time Qualifications - Demonstrated success shipping consumer subscription products with measurable business impact - Experience owning product decisions where subscription conversion, retention, churn, ARPU, or LTV were core success metrics - Strong understanding of paywall design, pricing, packaging, onboarding, activation, and monetization - Strong analytical and experimental mindset, with comfort being measured on revenue and retention impact - Ability to work closely with engineering and data teams, challenge estimates, and keep execution moving - High ownership, speed, and comfort operating in ambiguity Requirements - You're Not a Fit If - You prefer advisory product leadership over hands-on execution - You talk about product in abstract terms but cannot tie it to measurable business outcomes - You have not owned subscription product economics - You need a mature product organization already in place - You prefer slow, consensus-heavy environments - You identify problems but cannot turn them into systems, owners, and follow-through - You can execute tasks, but struggle to build systems from scratch - You need a full team already in place to execute behind you - You need established systems, tooling, and reporting before you can produce - You need other senior leaders to set the strategy before you can act - You wait for direction before acting on visible problems - You see problems and assume they belong to someone else - You treat seniority as a step away from the work instead of staying close to details Compensation We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting base salary range for this role is: USD $200,000 to $300,000. This role also offers performance-based rewards tied to subscription growth and business impact, with meaningful equity participation for the right candidate. Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and company impact. Benefits - Health, Dental and Vision Insurance - Life and Disability Insurance - Paid Time Off - Nine (9) paid holidays per year - Complimentary Nobl & Flo products - Remote-first Company Description Nysonian builds the next generation of global lifestyle brands; brands that inspire how people travel, move, and live. We create not just products, but experiences that empower people worldwide. - NOBL Travel — redefining modern travel with design, durability, and performance. - FLO Pilates — bringing Pilates into homes and wardrobes globally. With $150M+ in annual revenue, 300+ teammates across 6 countries, and 1.3M+ customers worldwide, we’re shaping the brands that will define the next decade. - Core Values: Winners’ Mindset | Speed with Purpose | Passion for Thoughtful Innovation | Genuineness | No Ego, Full Ownership
