Draft and negotiate digital media and information technology agreements (including SaaS and software license agreements) digital product agreements (including mobile and software development agreements), and other commercial agreements. Collaborate with Human Resources and Finance to ensure compliance and good governance of equity-based compensation arrangements. Participate in the evaluation of innovative projects and commercial operations. Provide support to the business and the legal team in respect of M&A related activities Who you are: 3 to 5 years’ experience since your Call to the Ontario Bar within a major law firm or in-house department. Good standing as a member of the Law Society of Ontario. Strong experience in corporate, securities, transactions and/or commercial law and a demonstrated capacity to collaborate and provide value added advice to the business. Positive, high degree of integrity, curious and inquisitive, you are open to diving deep into new topics while capable of working independently and/or as part of a team. Critical thinker, highly analytical with strong written and verbal communication skills. You excel at partnering with the business to find interesting solutions to their legal, compliance or governance dilemmas.
